Richard is a Chartered Mechanical Engineering and Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and of the Chartered Management Institute, his career has spanned over 35 years in both private and public sectors. He served as Vice President of Engineering in his last full-time role creating strategies, undertaking merger and acquisitions and building global programmes and capabilities to execute operational excellence plans. For the last 20 years he has been in the pharmaceutical sector working for Fortune 500 companies, building and qualifying research & development and manufacturing facilities around the world. Prior to this he was in the nuclear sector supporting both fusion and fission reactor engineering and facility operations.

Richard has lived in Wokingham for over 12 years and is a Trustee for another local charity the Wokingham Job Support Centre, he is passionate about helping charities be financially prudent and high performing in service of their clients.
