Jake Morrison

About Jake:
Jake is responsible for overall organisational management and works closely with our Board of Trustees to lead the charity and follow their set strategy in delivering important work across our communities.

He has worked for a number of other Local Citizens Advice charities across England and he has a background in local Government and the charity sector, working in the fields of mental health, equality and tackling social isolation.

Claire is responsible for leading our fantastic team of volunteers and handful of staff delivering our advice and information services across the borough.

Previously, Claire was our lead Supervisor managing the Woodley office of Citizens Advice Wokingham

Nicky Phull

About Nicky:
Nicky manages our training functions, bringing in new volunteers and helping them grown and learn to become assessors and advisers. Nicky also leads on our monthly development days, helping to support all of our team.

Sara-Louise Ackrill

About Sara:
Sara is supporting us for a couple of months with ensuring the smooth running of our admin functions of managing a charity! Sara has a background in office management, counselling and mental health support. She used to manage a large caseload of clients as long-term disability advisor for a charity in Gloucestershire.

Sue Cornish

Debt Advice Manager

About Sue:
Sue is our longest serving member of staff! She leads on our Debt advice work, ensuring we provide important advice, information and support to people in debt – taking on a small caseload of complex cases.

Sue also leads our new Council Tax arrears project, working closely with the borough council to support people in debt.

Claire Mitchell

Claire works on our six month project funded by Berkshire Community Foundation 16 hours per week to develop and build our charity services database, ensuring we have the most up to date details of services so that we can signpost our clients.

Prior to taking on this role, Prasanna was a longstanding volunteer with us – providing advice and information directly to clients.

About Meg:
Meg has two roles with us, Home Visitor two-days per week funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and part-time telephone adviser helping people to claim Universal Credit.

Natalie Cernuschi

Trainee Debt Adviser

About Natalie:
Natalie is currently training as a Debt Advisor in response to the increase in demand for debt advice resulting from the pandemic.

Natalie has a Law Degree and recently completed the Legal Practice Course with Masters. She has experience in managing large caseloads and providing a high quality of service to clients having previously worked as a Paralegal and volunteering on various Pro Bono projects. 

Natalie is looking forward to helping those most in need at this challenging time by providing information, support and important advice.

Ralph Hopkins

Ralph is joining the team as a Trainee Debt Advisor, his role is funded by MaPS for the next year. His work focuses on aiding clients in finding debt solutions by providing support, information, and advice.
